CALEXICO - Edge Of The Sun - Anti
Calexico's follow-up to 2012's acclaimed Algiers, Edge of the Sun began with a songwriting retreat to the historic Mexico City borough of Coyoacán. Working for the first time with Mexican collaborators, Calexico expanded their horizons as the guest list grew to include musicians from a myriad of backgrounds, origins, and genres, including Sam Beam from Iron and Wine, Ben Bridwell from Band of Horses, Nick Urata from Devotchka, Carla Morrison, Gaby Moreno, Amparo Sanchez, multi-instrumentalists from the Greek band Takim, as well as Neko Case.
EARL SWEATSHIRT - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside: An Album By Earl Sweatshirt - Sony
The second full-length studio release for the Los Angeles rapper Earl Sweatshirt features guest appearances from Dash, Na'kel, Vince Staples, and Wiki.
THE WOMBATS - Glitterbug - Bright Antenna
The Wombats follow up 2011’s This Modern Glitch with their third full-length, Glitterbug. The first song off of the album, “Greek Tragedy,” hit #2 on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart less than two weeks after release. The band’s 2011 album, This Modern Glitch, hit Top 5 on the UK charts and spawned US hits “Jump Into the Fog,” “1996,” and “Techno Fan.” Matthew Murphy, Dan Haggis, and Tord Øverland Knudsen are the threesome behind The Wombats.
MIGHTY OAKS - Howl - Astralwerks
Three young men, from three countries, combining three part harmonies, resulting in one unique sound. The Berlin based indie-folk band comprised of Ian Hooper (US), Claudio Donzelli (Italy), and Craig Saunders (UK) writes honest, authentic and emotionally driven songs acoustic guitars and mandolins at the centre of their sound, layers of electric guitars creating space and depth, rounded off through solid bass lines and the heartbeat of a simple drum. The music sets the perfect scene for the lyrics, which often draw their inspiration from the Pacific Northwest, the birthplace of Hooper. Set amidst these wonderful landscapes come tales of love, loss and the beauty of all that surrounds.
ALABAMA SHAKES - Sound & Color - ATO Records
Alabama Shakes's Sound & Color is the follow-up to the band's Gold-certified debut album, Boys & Girls, which earned the group three GRAMMY nominations, including a nod for Best New Artist. Sound & Color demonstrates the tremendous strides made by a group of musicians who had only been playing together for a few months when they recorded their first album. From the searing single "Don't Wanna Fight" to the garage-rock freak-out on “The Greatest” to the psychedelic space jam “Gemini,” Alabama Shakes build on the soulful blues-rock base and map a surprising, innovative new direction.
GREAT LAKE SWIMMERS - A Forest Of Arms - Nettwerk
A Forest Of Arms is the sixth album from Tony Dekker’s Great Lake Swimmers and the follow-up to their 2012 Juno Award and Polaris Music Prize nominated New Wild Everywhere. The album is a return to Dekker's naturalistic folk sound, as well as the process of recording in unique and unusual locations, which provided elements for some of their most dynamic songs ever recorded. Those familiar with past Great Lake Swimmers albums will recognize the thematic threads of beauty in the natural world, environmental issues and explorations of close personal ties that hold us together.
GENGAHR - She's A Witch EP - PIAS America
Gengahr's previous single, “Powder,” positioned them as one of the UK’s buzziest new bands, so expertly did its clanging psych-pop walk the line between Tame Impala’s sprawling soundscapes and Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s miniature suites. “She's A Witch,” the title track from the band’s new EP, operates in that same post-MGMT realm, but it’s got a dancey skip in its step to go along with the translucent guitar leads, groovy Modest Mouse bass gallops, and fluttering falsetto vocals. “Maybe she’ll sink,” they sing, “maybe she’ll fly.” This one soars.
DELERIUM - Rarities & B-Sides - Nettwerk
Rarities & B-Sides contains 3 new songs, including Glimmer featuring Emily Haines (of Metric), Aurora featuring rising star Rykka and Ray, featuring the iconic Delerium singer, Kristy Thirsk. Beyond this, all these songs have never been released digitally and include such gems as Stopwatch Heart featuring Emily Haines and the Daylight Edit, featuring Matthew Sweet. This collection highlights the rich history of Delerium, who trail blazed trance and anthemic dance with Silence in the 90s and is still going strong, as highlighted by this extraordinary collection of songs.

BRIAN WILSON - No Pier Pressure - Capitol
Brian Wilson is one of popular music’s most deeply revered figures, a legendary writer, producer, arranger and performer. For his 11th solo studio album, titled No Pier Pressure, Wilson is joined by his former Beach Boys bandmates Al Jardine, David Marks and Blondie Chaplin, as well as Kacey Musgraves, fun.’s Nate Ruess, She & Him’s Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, Peter Hollens, and Capital Cities’ Sebu Simonian.
POKEY LAFARGE - Something In The Water - Rounder
Pokey LaFarge makes original Midwestern music. With one foot deep in the heart of the American musical tradition and the other firmly planted in the present, he continually challenges the notion that tradition-bearers fail to push musical boundaries. An eclectic writer and performer, he incorporates elements of early jazz, ragtime, country blues, Western swing, and beyond, transcending the confines of genre to present a sound very much his own. Something In The Water follows on the heels of his last album, released on Jack White's Third Man Records, but comes with an evolution in sound. Treated with a heavier dose of catchy rhythms and traditional drum kit percussion throughout, the 12 tracks on Something in the Water see LaFarge's sound imbued with new life. Produced by kindred spirit Jimmy Sutton, Something in Water showcases Pokey LaFarge's peerless gifts as a songwriter, performer, and entertainer, and further solidifies his place at the forefront of American music.
ALL TIME LOW - Future Hearts - Hopeless Records
Baltimore quartet, All Time Low, release their sixth studio album, Future Hearts via Hopeless Records. The release features the band’s trademark sound and a few surprises along the way. Following the release of 2012’s Don’t Panic you can see the band’s continued growth. The band worked with producer John Feldman (5 Seconds of Summer. Sleeping With Sirens, The Used) and mixed by Neil Avron (Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, Linkin Park) to bring a truly remarkable new album.
LORD HURON - Strange Trails - Iamsound
Lord Huron's second full-length album, Strange Trails, was recorded in 2014 at Whispering Pines Studios in Los Angeles after extensive touring in support of the band's folk-flavored indie rock debut, Lonesome Dreams. Two songs, the uptempo "Fool for Love" and the wistful ballad "The Night We Met," were released in anticipation of the 14-track album.
THE VERY BEST - MAKES A KING - PIAS America
Following the success of their second album MTMTMK in summer 2012, The Very Best - aka Malawian singer Esau Mwamwaya and Swedish producer Johan Huhgo - are return with their much-anticipated, third album Makes a King. The duo have just unveiled the first taste of the album in the form of a visually arresting video for the single 'Hear Me' via Pitchfork.
STEVE HACKETT - WOLFLIGHT - Inside Out U.S.
Steve Hackett has never been tied to conventions. If you have followed his distinguished career, from Genesis and on, then the music has always been assertive, challenging and restive. But, even for those who have been devotees of Hackett's craft and catalog, Wolflight is a little different. Wolflight is Steve's first original solo studio album since Beyond the Shrouded Horizon in 2011. Primal and orchestral, it retains the Hackett trademark as electric guitar runs right the way through with a regular sprinkling of acoustic. The concept behind it is a new unexplored chapter in the guitarist's career. Hackett has fashioned a true work of art - savage, soothing, elegiac, evocative. Wolflight is a tribute to the enduring power of art.

A video contest for the lead single ''Erase'' judged by Black Francis of the Pixies is sure to elicit a spectacular original clip.
Gengahr’s previous single, “Powder,” positioned them as one of the UK’s buzziest new bands, so expertly did its clanging psych-pop walk the line between Tame Impala’s sprawling soundscapes and Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s miniature suites. “She’s A Witch,” the title track from the band’s new EP, operates in that same post-MGMT realm, but it’s got a dancey skip in its step to go along with the translucent guitar leads, groovy Modest Mouse bass gallops, and fluttering falsetto vocals. “Maybe she’ll sink,” they sing, “maybe she’ll fly.” This one soars.$13.99 $12.99

Turbo Fruits have made their name with notoriously wild live shows and frenetic rock songs about girls, drugs and frying their brains. CAMA INCENDIADA is Maná's 9th studio album. It is undoubtedly the most anticipated Latin album release in many years, however the anticipation grew that much stronger when it was announced the first single would feature International superstar Shakira, and the outcome is "Mi Verdad" which debuted #1 on the "Hot Latin Song" charts. CAMA INCENDIADA delivers eleven recordings which offer the classic and unmatched songwriting styles of Maná. The outcome are songs presented in the sounds and styles which the band is known for, a blend of Rock En Español and Latin pop music that only an artist such as Maná could pull off in major fashion.$12.98 $11.98
Australian electronic quartet Miami Horror have readied their long awaited second LP All Possible Futures to be released on April 21st. After relocating to Los Angeles for inspiration and influence, the band have found their own sound on their new studio album, littered with introspective songs and post-disco party jams inspired by the quirk of Talking Heads, New Order and INXS, through to the pop influence of Michael Jackson, Paul Simon and the dreamy aesthetic of Fleetwood Mac and Tame Impala.$12.98 $11.98

There are few noises as powerful as the sound of confidence. After a decade of trials and tribulations, hit singles and music industry politics, 10 years have emerged stranger than ever, freed by their own independence (both creatively and professionally), with a hard rock sound as steadfastly resilient as the salt-of-the-Earth fans relentlessly packing clubs to see them play. A 10 Years album is a celebration of strength through adversity.$15.98 $13.98
In 1967, before there was a Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood were John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. The four musicians were only together for three months, which makes it even more remarkable that a staunch fan from Holland was able to sneak a one channel reel to reel tape recorder into five London clubs and capture this exciting glimpse into music history. For almost fifty years these tapes have remained unheard until John recently got them and began restoring them with the technical assistance of Eric Corne of Forty Below Records. Corne adds ''While the source recording was very rough and the final result is certainly not hi-fidelity, it does succeed in allowing us to hear how spectacular these performances are.''
In conjunction with the new career documentary film Mavis! which premieres at SXSW Film this spring, ANTI- is pleased to announce a unique collaboration between two generations of ANTI artists. For the recording of the EP Your Good Fortune, gospel and soul legend Mavis Staples went into the studio with new ANTI singer-songwriter-producer Son Little, recording two new Son Little original songs, and two vivid reworkings of Staple Singers classics. To hear Mavis’ clarion voice bedded in Son Little’s ancient/modern swirl of swamp guitar and b-boy programming is to discover the knife edge of Mavis Staples’ art.$15.98 $13.98
Damogen Furies, his first full-length since 2012's Ufabulum, sees Squarepusher's powers in full flow. The techniques and craftsmanship that he has honed over the course of his career have become some of his signal qualities. He has spent the last decade creating and refining his own unique software system, and this album is the first to be made using that system exclusively. It is the culmination of years spent experimenting with and hacking hardware and software, having long since abandoned the limitations of out-of-the-box offerings. Squarepusher has remained truly experimental in part because he has rejected those limitations, choosing instead a compositional process that places the act of building instruments at its heart. On Damogen Furies we hear a truthful, unembellished representation of how those instruments sound. All of the recordings here were made in one take, with no edits.$15.98 $13.98
Beloved rock band the BoDeans are back with I Can t Stop (Free & Alive Recrods, a high-energy, American roots album that carries on what Kurt Neumann and a group of blue-collar kids began three decades ago in the Wisconsin heartland.$13.98 $12.98

Previously made available by the band themselves (over 10 years ago) in an extremely limited, CD-only run, this is the first time that Zombi’s very first recordings have ever been available in stores. The Zombi Anthology represents Zombi at the peak of their horror-score obsession. Check out where it all began!$16.99 $14.99
Johnny Winter has done and seen just about everything. One thing he had yet to do was play in Japan. This is one of the few places that his touring hadn't taken him, until now. This show was recorded on April 15, 2011, the third night of three sold out shows, at the famed Zepp Tokyo Music Hall in the heart of the world's largest city. The songs Johnny played during his stellar set are soaked with more blues riffs in this one night than most guitar players can match in their career. If you listen closely you can hear the likes of Robert Johnson, BB King, T-Bone Walker, Chuck Berry, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix and even The Beatles.$13.98 $12.98
Gruesome’s debut “Savage Land” is an intentional homage to the first wave death metal scene of Tampa, Florida, specifically Death’s early period. Gruesome is much more than a tribute band though. Led by Matt Harvey (of Exhumed, Matt was the vocalist and guitarist on the original Death To All tour) and rounded out by a band compromised of current and former members of Possessed, Malevolent Creation and Derketa, Gruesome sound like they were plucked right out of 1988. This is an absolutely top notch filthy slab of old school death metal, played by some of the scene’s most legit players.$13.98 $12.98
After prematurely snuffing out a career that burned so brightly by calling it quits in 2007, Good Riddance reignite the embers with the blazing inferno Peace In Our Time. Good Riddance are known for helping to mold the melodic/hardcore genre and for churning out some its most revered albums.$13.98 $12.98

Foil Deer is the sophomore album from Massachusetts Speedy Ortiz. "I'm not bossy, I'm the boss," Sadie Dupuis sings on first single "Raising the Skate," invoking in spirit one half of the Carter-Knowles clan and echoing the other's wordplay. And wordplay makes sense, considering Dupuis the band's songwriter, guitarist, and frontwoman spent the band's first few years teaching writing at UMass Amherst. She's drawn to the dense complexity of Pynchon, the dreamlike geometry of Bolaño, the confounded yearning of Plath all attributes you could easily apply to the band's 2013 debut Major Arcana, which fans and press alike have invested with a sense of purpose and merit uncommon in contemporary guitar rock.$12.98 $11.98
Black Rob (born Robert Ross) is a rapper formerly signed to Bad Boy Entertainment. His debut album "Life Story" was released in 2000 and rose above Platinum sales. His second album, The Black Rob Report, performed as strongly as his debut and was also on Billboard 100 charts.$15.98 $14.98

Word is Bond showcases frontman JJ Peters at his most real. It’s a short, sharp shock of pure honesty delivered in inimitable old-school style, and shouts loud and proud that Peters, guitarist Matt ‘RealBad’ Rogers, bassist Sean Kennedy and drummer Alex Salinger are here to stay. Since their inception, Deez Nuts have been a band everyone in the hardcore scene has had an opinion on, positive or negative. They – like Peters himself – were seen as caricatures, but Word is Bond shows the truth beneath the surface. But don’t get mistaken; this is no self-indulgent opera of dull introspection; instead, this is reality rendered in tones as hard as punk can get.$11.98 $10.98
If you experience the contagion of Gift Giver, you are guaranteed to be left with two words in mind: infectious and dangerous. Formed in the fall of 2012, the band gained notoriety and repute through their self-released EP, Daddy Issues and constant touring through the US with acts such as Sworn In, Kublai Khan, Barrier and more. Appearances at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, Skate and Surf Fest and Michigan’s own Dirtfest raised their profile even higher, making them one of the most buzzed about bands in the scene.$15.98 $13.98
In the clock of darkness, Tribulation go bump. In the breath of night, they whisper secrets centuries forgotten. Tribulation are more than music. They are a warped old photograph, a painting from eyes that have seen too much, a vista that forces the strongest of constitutions to question. Tribulation might just be the best death metal band on the planet. They are the art resolute. The Children of the Night is the Swedes’ boldest vision yet, resplendent in its expanse and measured in its restraint. Tribulation celebrate the valor of the present and emmerate the spells that will whisk them into the future on The Children of the Night. Join them in death, life, and beyond!$15.98 $13.98

With three critically esteemed album releases already under his belt, William Clark Green is back and this time it is getting personal. Give Green a pen and paper and he is a lyrical force to be reckoned with. 'Songwriting is reality. People are scared to put reality on paper, but this is 10 times more reality than my past work,' he explains bluntly. The past few years have been consumed with Green touring heavily in the booming Texas scene and persistently writing a plethora of songs that are pulled from true to life experiences. Green has adamantly pushed his boundaries as a writer revealing, 'Songwriting is exactly what is in your heart, in my opinion, it is not about writing a hit. It is about revealing your heart and your feelings on the paper.' While attending college at Texas Tech University, Green played for a live audience whenever he could and steadily gained notoriety on the Texas music scene. SLUG is a brand new musical venture from the mind of Ian 'Blackie' Black a merrily disruptive influence on the North East music for more than a decade. The debut album 'Ripe' was co-produced with Peter and David Brewis of Field Music at their studio in Sunderland, with the brothers adding occasional drums, synths and percussion to Ian's elaborate home-brewed constructions. Ian appears to have consumed and spat out film music (proggy Italian horror, Lynchian twanging), Erik Satie, Zeppelin-esque knotty riffing, snippets of synth-heavy disco, post-punk's more dub-centric excursions and even a smattering of Hall & Oates' new wave blue-eyed soul. The vocals vary from high and sweet four-part harmonies to sinister whispers to a spiteful rasp which wouldn't seem out of place on a particularly grumpy Roger Waters demo. It also manages to be very funny, partly due to the surreal, imagistic lyrics and partly from the unexpected moments of musical audacity.$14.98 $13.98

The album is produced by the band and mixed by Joe Barresi (Slipknot QOTSA, Soundgarden etc). To reinvent them selves they got back to old demos from -94 when they first started the band and through that got in contact with the feeling and the vibe that inspired them in the first place. That same philosophy goes for the whole album - how they approached the recordings, artwork, the production and mix of the album. So this is nothing less than Hardcore Superstar coming full circle by showing the fans where they come from and what they still believe in!$13.98 $12.98

The River must be seen in its original Technicolor; it is difficult, if not impossible, to imagine anyone fully enjoying this wonderful film while watching a black-and-white TV print. Adapted by director Jean Renoir and Rumer Godden from Godden's own novel, the film is set on the banks of West Bengal. The central character is teenaged British girl Harriet Patricia Walters, the offspring of a jute-mill owner Esmond Knight and his wife Nora Swinburne. Harriet and her best friend Valerie Adrienne Corri harbor a crush for a dashing visitor named Captain John Thomas E. Breen, who in turn is preoccupied with the hauntingly beautiful Indian girl Melanie Radha Shri Ram. This languid state of affairs is shaken up by unexpected tragedy involving Harriet's impulsive brother Richard Foster. The real star of the proceedings is the titular river, exquisitely color-photographed by Claude Renoir Jean's nephew and his Indian assistant Ramanda Sen Gupta. The apotheosis of Jean Renoir's lifelong fascination with India, The River served as a launching pad for the directorial career of Satyajit Ray, who met and befriended Renoir during the shooting of this film.$14.98 $12.98
