Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered... and quickly running out of time.
If you're going to shut down Fifth Avenue and parts of Grand Central and Washington Square Park for your movie, it had better be pretty damn impressive. I Am Legend accomplishes that, and then some. Will Smith plays the last man on earth after an epidemic viral outbreak in 2009. While desperately trying to generate a cure, he finds his night occupied by ravenous swarms of infected, zombie-like entities. The thrill ride was an enormous box office success, and this set offers a controversial alternate ending.
