More Info:

Formed in the summer of 2007, Twelve Twenty began as a studio project conceived by Philadelphia-area natives Dayv Lord, Tommy Ciccone and Scott Frassetto. The band came together solely as a studio experiment - the trio were friends after crossing musical paths for years in the ROCK world. Seperately and together in one form or another working extensively with other acts, such as Tidewater Grain, Jealous Type and Moby, Anthrophobia and B.R.A.N.D.O. Soon after the start of these sessions, Lord, Ciccone and Frassetto knew they were onto something good, producing well-written and executed alternative rock songs. Acknowledging the inspirational impact of 70's era rock-punk-n-glam (Cheap Trick, Sex Pistols and Johnny Thunders) as well as 90's alt-rock (Superdrag, Lemonheads, Local H, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins), Twelve Twenty spawned it's own singularly sweet yet gritty indie ear candy. The band saw it's potential more fully following it's first live show on July 4, 2007 and, after many more successful gigs, it was decided that Twelve Twenty should record a CD. The band's first release with drp Records, Hit with the Cool Ray, is set for a Aug. 26, 2008 release with full radio and video support. The 12-song CD features infectious, hook-filled singles such as "Vanity," "Stalking the DJ," "Radio, Video, Stereo, Etc." and "RZ" - an homage to one of the band's childhood heroes, Cheap Trick's Robin Zander. The first single and video released from the CD will highlight "Stalking the DJ." In an age when CDs are 10% killer and 90% filler....Twelve Twenty's 'Hit With The Cool Ray' stands levels above the rest in the current ROCK genre. It is a solid, kick ass, stripped down, hip shakin', groovy, loud CD. Listen to it NOW !!! Twelve Twenty Dayv Lord - vocals, guitar Tommy Ciccone - bass, vocals Scott Frassetto - drums, noise.
