Sweet Embrace is the 4th CD under the name Dem Hills. It is a studio based project that features original tunes written and recorded by Bruce Siekmann . ('I Call It Dancin ' lyrics were co-written with George Paterno) Sweet Embrace has many different styles including country, rock, jazz, caribbean, big band and gospel. There are 6 female lead vocalists, 2 male lead vocalists, and 4 instrumental tunes. Instruments include acoustic and elec. Gtr., acoustic and elec. Bass, drums, pedal steel, lap steel, mandolin, horns, woodwinds, tympani, marimbe etc. The CD has a cohesiveness despite the differences in musical styles and personnel. This is a result of all the music having been written by B.Siekmann. There are humorous topics in 'Eunice','I Call It Dancin' and 'Best Kept Secret'. 'The Klatter' is a story that takes place in Appalachia. Die deutsche Prinzessin is a orchestral rocking instrumental. 'Sweet Embrace' is an uplifting gospel country song sung by a duet. 'I Think It's Called Love' is a flat out rocker with female vocals. 'Marvelous Marvin' is a dreamy lullaby sung by a female vocalist. 'Schving Waltz', Mr. Squiggs and 'Green Stamps' are jazzy instrumentals. 'Long Steel Wings' is an uplifting story of a young woman leaving her home town.
